In SimpleOne, schedules are used to determine working hours. This functionality is in demand in a variety of other processes, for example, SLA indicators.

Managing schedules

To create a new schedule, please complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the System Scheduler → Schedules;
  2. Click New, fill in the form, and then click Save.

Schedule form fields

FieldDescription
NameThe schedule name.
DescriptionDescription of the schedule in a concise manner.
ParentSpecify the schedule to be a parent for newly created.

After you have created a new schedule, you need to add the schedule elements. For this, click the New button placed on the sys_schedule_element related list.

Schedule elements form fields

FieldDescription
NameThe schedule element name.
ScheduleThe schedule containing the current element.
Type

The element type:

  • Time off;
  • Excluded;
  • Meeting;
  • Appointment;
  • Phone Call.

The schedule with the Excluded type does not participate in the SLA calculation, as opposed to the other types.

The Excluded type is designed to separate the off hours.

Started atThe element start time,
Finished atThe element end time.
Repeat at

The element will be repeated:

  • Daily;
  • Weekly;
  • Monthly;
  • Yearly.

Or it will not be repeated.

Repeat until onThe date and time before which the element must be repeated.
