Dashboards allow displaying multiple analytical data, such as reporting, on a single screen. Use dashboards to create a data set with that you can share with other users.
Creating a dashboard
Navigate to Dashboards → Create New.
Fill in the form.
Click Save or Save and Exit to apply changes.

Specify the interval for dashboard refreshing. Available options:

5 minutes

When created, the dashboard form appears.
You can easily add this dashboard to the navigator panel by clicking Add to Navigator button. In this case, the menu item is added to the Dashboards category and is visible to all users. If you click Add to Favourites button, this dashboard is added to your Favourites and is visible only to you.
The Add to Navigator UI action is visible only for users with the admin role. In other words, adding a dashboard to the navigator panel requires admin privileges.
Managing a single dashboard
Managing a dashboard is adding or removing items or elements from it.
For example, you can add one more report to your dashboard. To perform this, please complete the steps below:
Navigate to your dashboard via the Dashboard menu item.
Scroll down to the Report Item related list.
Click New and fill in the fields.
Dashboard - a dashboard this item is related to. This field is populated automatically.
Report - specify a report to display on a dashboard screen.
Order - specify an order of this dashboard element. Elements are displayed in ascending order.
Click Save or Save and Exit to apply changes.
To delete a report from dashboard, please complete the steps below:
Navigate to your dashboard via the Dashboard menu item.
Scroll down to the Report Item related list.
Choose one or more items by checking the boxes on the left.
Click Delete.
Preparing data for dashboards
As mentioned above, dashboards generally are collections of previously prepared reports displaying some or other information necessary for daily business tasks. In SimpleOne, you can create reports of many types and in many looks. To know more about creating reports, please refer to the Create a Report article. After that, you'll be able to add these reports of any type to your dashboard. On the screenshot below, you can see an example of the Service Desk dashboard:
