Announcements are used to deliver news or notifications to Service Portal users by displaying them on the Portal and/or via email.
When displaying on the Portal, announcements list is located at the Announcements area and it appears as shown below:
Announcement types
In SimpleOne, announcements typification is based on several criteria:
- urgency (for the announcements related to Change Requests)
- notification requirements (for the announcements related to Incidents)
- clarity (for the general requirements).
So there are several announcement types in SimpleOne:
- Recovery
- Completion Recovery
- Maintenance
- Urgent Maintenance
- General Information.
