Announcements are used to deliver news or notifications to Service Portal users by displaying on the Portal and/or via email.
When displaying on the Portal, announcements list is located at the Announcements area and it appears as shown below:
Announcement types
In SimpleOne, announcements typification is based on several criterions:
- urgency (for the announcements related to Change Requests);
- notification requirements (for the announcements related to Incidents);
- clarity (for the general requirements).
So there are several announcement types in SimpleOne:
- Recovery;
- Completion Recovery;
- Maintenance;
- Urgent Maintenance;
- General Information.
