SimpleOne allows users to create reports using the Report Designer and directly from the data table.
Create from the Tables
You can create a chart out of any column, just clicking on its title. The reports generated in this way use t
Pie and bar charts are only available for this type of report creating.
To create a report from a table, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the source table.
- Chose a table column as a data grouping criteria and right-click on it.
- Select one of the context options:
- Pie chart - to generate a pie report.
- Bar chart - to generate a bar chart.
- Export Excel - to export an excel document with datatable.
- Your report will open in the Report Designer view. Customize your report data and style with the Report Designer tools in a way you need.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Create with the Report Designer
Go to the Reports → Create a Report menu, and follow the steps below:
Set the Data.
- Select the Type.
- Configure the report options.
- Customize the Style.
To navigate through the Report Designer, use the Back and Next buttons, or simply click the tabs after filling in the mandatory fields.
Set the Data
- On the Data tab, fill in the mandatory fields:
- Report name - enter the desired name;
- Table - select the table you need.
- Click Next or the Type tab.

- On the Type tab, select a type of your report.
- Click Next or the Configure tab.
Configure the report
On the Configure tab, fill in the set option fields determined by the report type selected.
Use the Condition Builder to establish additional conditions for your report data filtering and grouping.(Optional) To add a report data to your report, activate the Add data tables checkbox.
This option is available for reports of the following types: Bar, Pie, Line, Trends.
(Optional) The data aggregation allows preparing the combined datasets for data processing according to the user needs. Select a type of the numeric data aggregation with one of these options:
- Average - counts an average number of the column values. It makes sense if the aggregation column keeps the numeric data.
- Count - counts a number of the column values.
- Count distinct - counts the number of unique values of the column.
- Sum - counts the summary of the numeric data values.
This option is available for reports of the following types: Bar, Pie, Gauge, Digits, Line, Pivot, Multi Pivot, Trends, Heatmap.

This option is available for reports of the following types: Bar, Pie, Line, Pivot, Multi Pivot, Heatmap.
- Click Refresh to generate a report.
To customize the report style, click Next or the Style tab.
- To save the report, click Save.

On the Style tab, configure the style options.
Each report type defines its own style settings.
- Click Refresh to apply the changes.
- Click Save to save the report.
