Scheduled import provides the ability to carry out import operations at a specified regular interval.

Role required: admin.

To schedule an import, complete the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Import → Schedule Import.
  2. Click New and fill in the fields.
  3. Click Save or Save and Exit to apply the changes.

Specify a name of the scheduled data import.

Import source

Use the Import Source dictionary to specify the import source record.

Run as

Specify a user on whose behalf the import job should be executed.

Select this checkbox to activate this data import.

Run frequency

Y

Specify the import frequency and periodicity. Available choice options:

  • On-Demand – select this option to perform the data import on demand.
  • Periodically – select this option to schedule the import periodicity.
  • Once – select this option to schedule a one-time import.
  • Daily – select this option to schedule the daily import.
  • Weekly – select this option to schedule the weekly import.
  • Monthly – select this option to schedule the monthly import.

Run period

N

Specify the period for the import repeating. This field appears if you set Periodically in the Run frequency field.

Run time

N

Specify the time on which to run the import. This field appears if you set Daily, Weekly, Monthly in the Run frequency field.

Run date and time

N

Specify the date and time on which to run the import. This field appears if you set Once or Periodically in the Run frequency field.

Day of week

N

Specify the day on which to run the import. This field appears if you set Weekly in the Run frequency field.

Day of month

N

Specify the day on which to run the import. This field appears if you set Monthly in the Run frequency field.
