Heatmap Reports display your data as the intersection of two metrics in a table with colored cells. These cells contain data values visualized with color brightness.

Create a heatmap report

Use Report Designer to create, configure, and style gauge reportscustomize heatmap reports.

titleTo create a bar report, follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Reports → Create a ReportNew.
  2. On the the Data tab tab, fill in the mandatory fields: 
    • Report name - Name – enter the desired name;
    • Table - select Table – select the table you want to use as a source.
  3. Click Next or the Type tab to continue.
  4. On the Type tab, select Gauge report option and click Next.click the Heatmap icon of the Multidimensional reports category:

  5. Click Next or the Configure tab.

  6. Fill in the mandatory fields and configure the data, then

    Configure a report, and

    click Refresh to generate a report.

    Note

    The Report Designer can stop the report generating if there is a large amount of data to display. Use the Condition Builder to limit the data sampling or try another type of report.


  7. Customize the Customize a style of the report created, and click Refresh.
  8. Click Click Save.

To open the saved report, navigate to the to Reports → All reports menu Reports and select one from the list.

In the Configure tab, use settings to specify the source datasets to build the desired reportFill in these fields to configure your report in a way you want.

To configure a report, follow the steps below:

  1. On the Configure tab, specify  fill in the report datasetfields.
  2. Click Refresh to build the report.
  3. Click Save to save the report.

    The Sum and Average settings make sense if the aggregation column keeps the numeric data.

    You can configure the report look and gauge scores and heatmap score colors in any way you want with the style settings.

    To customize a report style, follow the steps below:

    1. On the Style tab of your report, configure the settings.
    2. Click Refresh to apply the changes.
    3. Click Save to save the report.

    Change colors, add titles, and customize the data list and table views with the settings below.
