Pivot Reports represent your data in a table view with aggregating, grouping and analyzing using more than two metrics as columns and cells for your chart. This report type is extremely useful for issues of comparasing, summarizing, and counting a large amount of data.

Create a multilevel pivot report


Use Report Designer to create, configure and style gauge reports.

titleTo create a bar report, follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Reports → Create a Report.
  2. On the Data tab, fill in the mandatory fields: 
    • Report name - enter the desired name;
    • Table - select the table you want to use as a source.
  3. Click Next or the Type tab to continue.
  4. On the Type tab, select Multilevel Pivot report option and click Next.
  5. Configure a report, and click Refresh to generate a report.
  6. Customize a style of the report created, and click Refresh.
  7. Click Save.

To open the saved report, navigate to the Reports → All reports menu and select one from the list.



Configure a Report


On the Configure tab, use settings to specify the maximum and minimum scale values of your gauge report.


To configure a report, follow the steps below:

  1. On the Configure tab, specify the report dataset.
  2. Click Refresh to build the report.
  3. Click Save to save the report.

Use the Condition Builder to establish additional conditions for data filtering and grouping.

Click the icon to open the Condition Builder, establish your conditions, then click Refresh to apply changes.

Aggregation type

The data aggregation allows preparing the combined datasets for data processing according to the user needs.

Select a type of the numeric data aggregation with one of these options:

  • Average - counts an average number of the column values. 
  • Count - counts a number of the column values.
  • Count distinct - counts the number of unique values of the column.
  • Sum - counts the sum of the numeric data values in this table column.

The aggregation option selected is applied to the table column set in the Aggregation column field.

Aggregation columnSelect a table column with numeric values for data aggregation.
Groups limitSet the limit of the data groups shown in your report with a particular number in this field.
Show rest as otherSet this checkbox on to show the data groups not included in Groups limit as one.

You can configure the report look and gauge scores colors in any way you want with the style settings. 

To customize a report style, follow the steps below:

  1. On the Style tab of your report, configure the settings.
  2. Click Refresh to apply the changes.
  3. Click Save to save the report.

General Style
Drilldown list layoutSelect the list layout of the report data.
Decimal precisionSet the number defining how much numbers should be displayed after the point of numeric data values in your chart.
Title Style
Report title show type

Set the type for the report title showing. Select one of the options:

  • Never.
  • Report only.
  • Always.
Report titleEnter the title of the report you create. 
Report title sizeEnter the number of points to set the size of the report title.
Report title colorSelect the color of the report title.
Title horizontal alignment

Set the horizontal alignment of the chart title with one of the options:

  • Left;
  • Center;
  • Right.
Title vertical alignment

Set the vertical alignment of the chart title with one of the options:

  • Top;
  • Middle;
  • Bottom.
Title boldSwitch this checkbox on to make the chart title bold.
